Company Introduction

Founded in 1976, SM CHEMICAL, for the last 40 years have consolidated a firm position in the synthetic resin compound
industry in Korea. In areas such general and engineering plastics, synthetic rubber, reinforcing agents, and coloring agents,
we have worked tirelessly to develop these products. Using the latest technology combined with SM CHEMICAL’s inhouse
techniques, we have the industry’s highest standards in terms of productivity and efficiency. In addition, we have
established a Central Research and Development center to develop new and more efficient methods of production. We have
relentlessly been developing new and advanced products for domestic and international markets.
In 2005 SM CHEMICAL joined SM Group, as a subsidiary of SM Group we have been working hard to make SM CHEMICAL
a more robust company with the best products and people working in the industry.
